Business Challenge::-

• To track the location of various enterprise assets was a major challenge as they are moved across bays/floors/offices.
• Another acute problem was that many of the items are custom bonded and are subject to surprise audits.
• A typical asset list was that of highly expensive paintings, lab equipments, servers, laptops, projectors, modems etc.

BGIL Solution:-

UHF based RFID solution was implemented at Airtel office in Delhi.

• Individual assets were tagged to track the movement of assets across bays/floors/offices.
• Readers located at key entrance/exit points provide location information.
• Hand held reader was provided for faster and accurate stock taking process.
• We developed an asset management application that helps increase customer visibility to asset information.
• In case of fixed assets, Asset movement was only possible with a preauthorization from the admin which has to be done through
  our asset management application.
• In case of movable assets, the assets were mapped with the employee ID and the movement was only possible
  in case of matching of employee ID and asset ID.
